Awesome news!

The actress has been candid about suffered by the disease and the chronic pain that has beset her for so long.

She even get super active( which get her skinny-shamed by some of her devotees and adherents) and tried a holistic diet in an attempt to curb the symptoms, but to no avail.

In a new Lenny Letter, she wrote:

“My surgery went off without a hitch. When I emerged, cotton-mouthed, Randy told me something I hadn’t expected to hear, maybe ever: there was no endometriosis left. Between my surgeries and hormonal intervention, I was disease-free. That doesn’t mean it can never return, but for now, once my sutures have been removed and my bruises have changed from blue to yellow to green to move, I will be healthy.”

Fuck yeah !!!

She continued, speaking honestly about suffering in all its forms 😛 TAGEND

“All that will remain[ now] is my long-term relationship with suffering, and it’s time to get real about that. My suffering physical distracted from my deeper suffering emotional, spiritual and became the ultimate apologize. I had two modes: work and hurt. I was persuaded there was nobility in it. There was surely routine.”

The Girls creator expressed that she still has to come to terms with this new, albeit better, reality, saying 😛 TAGEND

“Now, because of the unbelievable privilege of having thoughtful doctors, my torso has been granted a reprieve. And I’m embarrassed to say that the excitement is mixed with loss. Pain and illness defined a time in my life.”

But she’s not be standing seeming sorry for herself. Quite the opposite! She told 😛 TAGEND

“So many people who suffer will never have the resources I’ve had. My undertaking is to educate people, to try to change the pathetic lack of resources for endometriosis, but it’s also to seize this endowment. I’ll be more useful that way.”

Right on!

She has a powerful voice that can be used for good, and the ability to raise awareness of an illness that plagues so many women.

We’re positive she’ll followed up with champ this cause whether her endometriosis returns or not. We surely hope it doesn’t, though!

You continue battle, girl!
